Dear Girl Friends,
It’s been ten years of planning, almost two years of a pandemic, and many cocktails to create this fantasy of an in-person 87th National Conclave in Cancun, Mexico. We stand on the shoulders of the Albany chapter, our fearless sponsor the late courageous leader, Girl Friend Barbara Zuber, and many Girl Friends who have fortified us with words of wisdom and unwavering support throughout this process.
The Loudoun County Girl Friends are truly honored to host and have worked hard preparing for your arrival. It’s our intention that you want for nothing and enjoy it all, especially being together. This is why our theme is “Reunited and Feels So Good.” There will be immense power when we get together to celebrate 87 years of friendship. We hope this Conclave will delight you with its warm beaches, spectacular views, excellent food, and outstanding cocktails.
Did someone say cocktails? Yes, please… starting Thursday, you’ll be welcomed to Mexico with a Mayan casual “Reunited and Feels So Good" party; On Friday, dance the night away at “Club Fiesta”; Enjoy Saturday’s luncheon “Glam on the Gulf” in stylish sundresses and sleek sandals and then enjoy the elegance of the “Moonlight Over Cancun” Gala, all of which will be sure to create memorable moments you won’t want to miss.
Friendship is why we gather, but it's the love we have for one another that keeps us coming back year after year. We are deeply honored to host you and can’t wait to be reunited again. See you in Cancun!
