EDI in the Workplace – Religious Diversity: Challenges and Opportunities With a focus on a frequently overlooked EDI topic—religious diversity in the workplace—the workshop will draw on case studies to engage participants in solving real life controversies that have arisen in various workplace settings involving a religiously diverse workforce. |

Illustrating Equity and Enacting Sustainable Change Art can be emancipatory, as it acknowledges and highlights alternative possibilities of existing and relating to others. The objective of this workshop is to utilize the visual arts to examine alternative possibilities of existing and relating to others in spaces where there is a collective mission for diversity, equity, and inclusion. |

Lessons from Theatre of the Oppressed* Theatre of the Oppressed is a form of popular community-based education that uses theatre as a tool for transformation. Originally developed out of Augusto Boal’s work with peasant and worker populations, it is now used all over the world for social and political activism, conflict resolution, community building, therapy, and government legislation. |

Impact of Diversity in Communication* In response to the need to accelerate connectivity and relationship building in a globally diverse community, this experience holds an abbreviated version of exercises provided during graduate student orientation at the Simon Business School. Fuel for Empowerment with Dr. Shaun Nelms Dr. Shaun Nelms is the superintendent of East Upper and Lower Schools, formerly East High School in Rochester, NY. In addition, he was named the first William and Sheila Konar Director for the Center for Urban Education Success (CUES) at the Warner School of Education. Nelms leads success efforts of K12 urban schools both locally and nationally through a combination of research, relationship building, and a commitment to pursue and share best practices. |
