Welcome to the Mighty Eastern Region’s Southern Cluster Area Work Day 2023 hosted by the Manassas-Woodbridge Chapter. We are grateful to have an opportunity to come together to fellowship, work, and play in the name of Jack and Jill. This year’s theme is Stronger Together, United as One. The Manassas-Woodbridge chapter, along with the Regional team, have worked tirelessly to develop an impactful program for you.   

Manassas-Woodbridge enthusiastically invites you to attend a fun-filled Friday Night Fundraiser. Mothers will enjoy an evening of food, fun, and fellowship, along with music, games, and prizes. Our high school and middle school students will kick back and enjoy a private movie showing of Five Nights at Freddy’s (PG 13) and dinner.

Saturday’s townhall, Stronger Together, United as One, will cover topics on women issues, trigger laws, and Critical Race Theory with featured guests, Shavon Arline-Bradley and Tara Setmayer.

The Manassas-Woodbridge Chapter is excited to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of America Greater Washington with an impactful donation of culturally diverse children’s books. You can support this beneficial initiative by bringing new culturally diverse books to Area Workday. Books can also be purchased by using this link Amazon.com.

The Manassas-Woodbridge Chapter has curated workshops for moms on topics from mental health to parenting in today’s times. The teen workshops will include financial literacy and mental health. The middle schoolers will be engaged in a hands-on STEAM activity and social media safety.

Mothers will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops held by the Region, including bylaws, membership, programming, protocol, foundation, QuickBooks, and teen chaperone certification. We have a special workshop for our new mothers as well. Our teens will hear from their Regional Teen Officers and complete modules for which they will receive credit.
