Southern Cluster Area Work Day Fundraiser
The Manassas Woodbridge Chapter is excited to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of America Greater Washington with an impactful donation of culturally diverse children’s books. The Southern Cluster Area Workday Community Service Project will specifically support the Literacy Matters initiative. The Literacy Matters initiative was designed to address the sharp decline in reading test scores and to address the removal of culturally diverse books from schools and libraries. We kindly ask mothers to support this beneficial initiative by bringing new culturally diverse books to Area Workday. Books can also be purchased by using this link Amazon.com. Please select the gift registry address, and the books will be delivered to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington.
During Area Workday, all attendees will gather together to learn about the Literacy Matters initiative benefitting the Boys and Girls Club. Attendees will also make meaningful bookmarks to be included with our book donations because Literacy Matters!
