Dear Mothers, Teens, Middle Schoolers, and Associates,
Welcome to the Mighty Eastern Region’s Metropolitan Chapter Area Workday, hosted by Morris County Chapter. We are grateful to have an opportunity to come together to fellowship, work, and play in the name of Jack and Jill. This year’s theme is Stronger Together, United as One! The Morris County Chapter, along with the regional team, have worked tirelessly to develop an impactful program for you.
We will launch AWD with four virtual workshops for mothers on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 8 PM. Mothers will have the opportunity to attend one of the four workshops. The four workshops cover We Are One, Digital Cheetah, Protocol, and Legislation.
The Morris County Chapter has curated workshops for moms on topics such as women’s health, self-care, resilience, money management strategies, and supporting your child’s academic excellence. The teen workshops will include a STEM interactive workshop sponsored by Bristol Myers Squibb, strategies for managing anxiety, and embracing one’s true self.
Mothers also will have the chance to participate in workshops held by the Region, including bylaws, membership, programming, protocol, foundation, legislative, Digital Cheetah, QuickBooks, and middle school masterclass, and teen chaperone certification. We have a special workshop for our new mothers as well. Our teens will hear from their Regional Teen Officers and complete modules for which they will receive credit.
All mother members registered for Area Workday must attend the General Session on Saturday and two workshops (one can be a virtual workshop held on Thursday evening).
You will be able to purchase journal ads to promote chapter events or businesses on the registration site. Information about ad pricing can be found using this link: https://www.eventsibles.online/2023AWDSouvenirJournal
The Morris County Chapter is excited to lead a community service to support Morristown Neighborhood House to assemble several types of care packages that will be given to students of the Neighborhood House, ages 12-18, to help strengthen their coping skills and aid in dealing with life stressors.
The Morris County Chapter and Eastern Region Leadership Team look forward to hosting you.
In service,
RD Fatimah
