  • Chapter Finances - Make It Make Sense! Part I. This session is for Chapter Financial Officers only and will be dedicated to hands-on training on QuickBooks Online. Laptops are required.

  • The Impacts of Maternal and Infant Health on the Black Family - A Family Affair This panel discussion will delve into the critical intersections of maternal and infant health within the Black family.
  • Chaperones: The Super Sheroes of Teen Conference Session 1 - Exploring the role of teen advisors at Teen Conference. Both Sessions 1 and 2 are required for certification.
  • Making it Right: Chapter Bylaws and Policies and Procedures - Understanding governing documents to make your Jack and Jill experience just right.
  • Programming - Aligning national programming priorities and requirements with your chapter Capacity
  • Calling All New Mothers - A session to help new mothers navigate their first few years as a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.   This session is recommended for mothers that joined Jack and Jill in the last three years (2021-2024)
  • Chapter Finances: Make It Make Sense! Part II. This session is for Chapter Financial Officers only and the sequel to Part I. It will be dedicated to hands-on training on QuickBooks Online. Laptops are required.

Workshop I: Artificial Intelligence

The workshop will provide a look into the field of AI, including its exponential growth over the last few years, and uses. It will highlight how career opportunities within security are evolving to require familiarity with AI, and provide the Jacks and Jills with resources that they might consider to learn more.

3:45 PM - 4:45 PM

Workshop II:  Building Utopia

An inspiring workshop where teens will explore the future of our communities and the legacy we are building for generations to come. In this session, participants will engage with the Building Utopia toolkit, which uses innovative card decks and envisioning exercises to introduce the concepts of design speculation and democratic power in shaping our world.

Teens will consider how the technologies we use, the spaces we live in, and the systems that govern us can be reimagined to create more equitable and liberated futures.

Workshop I:  A BLOOMING in Excellence Vision-Setting Journey

Mapping Your Future: A BLOOMING in Excellence Vision-Setting Journey program is designed to help middle school students think critically about their future, set meaningful goals, and begin taking steps towards achieving them. Through a series of creative and reflective activities, students will explore their dreams, create a vision board, and identify actionable steps to make their vision a reality.

Workshop II: Empowerment Through Theater Arts

Middle Schoolers dive into the fundamentals of playwriting, discovering the art of storytelling through the creation of their own original monologues. They will learn how to craft compelling characters, develop engaging narratives, and express their unique voices on the page.

Beyond individual writing, they will also collaborate with a partner to co-write an original scene, honing their teamwork and communication skills. This workshop not only nurtures creativity but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration.

Finding Your Calm: Simple Ways to De-Stress and Beat Anxiety

This session is designed to help middle school students navigate the challenges of adolescence by learning how to manage stress and reduce anxiety through simple, practical exercises. We’ll explore techniques that promote calm, improve focus, and enhance emotional well-being. Students will leave with a toolkit of easy-to-use strategies they can incorporate into their daily lives to handle stress, whether at school, home, or with friends. Expect a fun, interactive experience that helps you find your calm in any situation!
