Sickle Cell disease disproportionately affects people of color with profound impacts on their health and well-being. Despite this, it remains one of the least researched and funded diseases, with minimal
advances in treatment options over the past two decades.

Our children will sort donated items—socks,
hats, gloves, and long johns—to benefit underprivileged kids served by the Crescent Foundation. The Crescent Foundation is a Philadelphia-based, non-profit organization that helps Sickle Cell strivers and allies transcend the disease through free educational resources, community support programs, and access to better health outcomes.
